The following ACI Certifications were recently received by MK Concrete Construction Team Members:

ACI Concrete Flatwork Technician

Chuck Brandenburg, General Concrete Operations Manager
Ever Rivas, Site Foreman
Sean Shoemaker, Labor Foreman

By receiving this certification, Chuck, Ever, and Sean have demonstrated their successful knowledge about proper procedures to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure and protect concrete flatwork.

 

ACI Concrete Flatwork Finisher & Technician

Bert Schulteis, Superintendent
Tim Jones, Superintendent

By receiving this certification, Bert and Tim have demonstrated their successful knowledge and ability to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure, and protect concrete flatwork. To receive the Concrete Flatwork Finisher, they were required to have complete 1,500 hours of actual on-the-job finishing experience & successfully complete the performance examination or have 4,500 hours of actual on-the-job finishing experience. 

 

ACI Tilt Up Supervisor

Bruce Snyder, Superintendent

By receiving this certification, Chuck, Bert, and Bruce have demonstrated their successful knowledge and ability of Job-Task Analysis, Safety Communications and Procedures, Planning and Scheduling, Structural Systems, Site Preparation and Foundations, Slabs on Grade, Layout and Forming, Concrete Properties and Placement, Erection and Bracing, and Panel Finishes and Building Finishing.

 

ACI Tilt Up Technician

Bryan Burton, Senior Project Manager

By receiving this certification, Bryan has demonstrated his successful knowledge and ability of on-site administrative and technical management for producing tilt-up projects.
